West Mersea to Burnham-on-Crouch

This Trophy is the back-to-back race for the Pattinson Cup and this year starts from 0900 on Sunday at the Nass Beacon finishing at the Royal Burnham YC line.

Ralph Herring was a former Commodore of the RBYC and his family have been closely involved in East Coast racing for several generations. Ralph’s brother Phil served as Chairman of the Association in 1958-9. The annual Ralph Herring Trophy race is now a similar reversed course to that of the Pattinson Cup, of between 50 and 65 miles.
